CSIR UGC NET December 2024 | Brief Details
National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2024, to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, and admission to Ph.D.’ in Indian universities and colleges through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Eligible Candidates can apply Online from 09 Dec 2024 to 30 Dec 2024 on Official Portal of CSIR (https://csirnet.nta.ac.in). - Upper Age Limit for Applying For CSIR UGC NET December 2024
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Maximum Age Limit is 30 Years as on 01 Feb 205.
- Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit
- Admission to PHD: There is no upper age limit

- Joint CSIR- UGC NET December 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from recognized universities/ institutions are eligible.
- % of Marks Required for Different Category of candidates for Appearing in CSIR-UGC NET:
- General/ Unreserved/ General-EWS Candidates with 55 % marks.
- SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender with 50 % Marks.

- Selection Procedure for UGC NET December 2024:
- Mode of Examination: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Pattern of Examination: Objective Type with MCQ
- Duration of Examination: 180 minutes (03 hours).
- Date(s) of Examination Schedule: 16 Feb 2025 to 28 Feb 2022
