Indian Air Force (IAF) invites online applications (Iaf Afcat 01 2025 recruitment) from Indian Citizens (Male and Female) for Flying and Ground Duty (Technical & Non Technical) Branches. Online Common Admission Test will be conducted from 22 Feb – 23 Feb 2025 for above posts. Eligible Candidates can apply Online from 02 Dec 2024 to 30 Dec 2024 on Official Portal of IAF (r https://afcat.cdac.in)). • Educational Qualification

Educational Qualification For Flying Branch in IAF AFCAT 01 2025 Recruitment.

– passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level OR
– Graduate with 60 % Marks in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. OR
– BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognised University with 60% Marks. OR
– Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers wit 60 % of Marks.

• For Ground Duty (Technical Branch) :

Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics (AE(L))

– 10+2 / Intermediate Min 50% Marks in Physics and Math and Min 04 Years Graduation / Integrated PG Degree in Engineering / Technology.

Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical(AE(M))

• Candidates with Min 50% Marks Each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level and Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks OR
• 04 Years Engineering / Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Equivalent Degree with 60 % of Marks.

For Ground Duty (Non Technical Branch) :

Weapon Systems (WS) Branch : Candidates with Min 50% Marks Each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level and Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks OR
• 04 Years Engineering / Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Equivalent Degree with 60 % of Marks.

• Administration& Logistics Branch: Passed 10+2 Level and Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks OR
• Cleared Section A & B from AMIE or Aeronautical Society of India with 60 % of Marks.

Accounts Branch: Passed 10+2 and done graduation in BCOM / BBA (Finance) / CA/CFA/CS or graduation with finance as one subject.

Education Branch: Passed 10+2 and Post-Graduation with 50% marks in any discipline including integrated courses offering PG (Single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry) and with 60% marks in Graduation in any discipline.

Meteorology Branch: Passed 10+2 and B Sc with Physics and Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or four year Graduation in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks.

• Iaf Afcat 01 2025 Syllabus

English : Comprehension, Detect Error in Sentence, Sentence Completion/ Filling in of correct word, Synonym/ Antonym, Cloze Test or Fill in the Gaps in a paragraph, Idioms and Phrases, Analogy, Sentence Rearranging, Substitution in a Sentence/ One Word Substitution

• General Awareness: History, Geography, Sports, National & International Organisations, Art & Culture, Personalities, Environment & Ecology, Indian Polity, Economy, Basic Science Based Knowledge, Science & Technology, Current Affairs (National & International), Defence.

• Numerical Ability: Decimal Fraction, Time and Work, Average/ Percentage, Profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Simple and Compound Interest, Time & Distance and Races (Trains/ Boats & Streams), Area and Perimeter, Probability, Number System & Number Series, Mixture & Allegation Rules, Clocks

Reasoning and Military Aptitude: Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning

Type of Commission.

• Short Service Commission (SSC) for Men & Women.

(i) The engagement period for Flying Branch (Men and Women) SSC Officers is fourteen years from the date of Commissioning.
(ii) The initial tenure for Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) SSC Officers would be for a period of ten years. An extension of
four years may be granted subject to service requirements, availability of vacancies, willingness, suitability and merit.
(iii) Grant of Permanent Commission (PC) (at a later date) would be considered subject to service requirements, availability of
vacancies, willingness, suitability, merit and as per prevailing policies on the subject.
(iv) SSC officers are not entitled for grant of pension.
